Your summer 2024 Destination Science camp experience will have all of the science fun and friendships your kids have come to expect from summers past! A typical day at camp will include plenty of outdoor science activities and outdoor games. After checking in and participating in camper connection and team building activities, we’ll start with our first science station of the day. This activity includes a cumulative project that will be completed by Friday. From there, we grab our snack and head outside to experience some outside action. Our outside action station is an equal mix of physical activity and friendship building.
Next up…Engineering 2024! Campers work in teams to design creative solutions to fun challenges. Followed by lunch and fun outside games. We will round out the day with our third exciting science station, full of new science investigations, building and fun. Camp Rally is a special tradition where we focus on our skill of the day, recognizing all campers achievements, singing our DS song and lots of high fives as our teams get ready to go home and rest for more science fun tomorrow!
At Destination Science, we’ve designed our camp themes for kids ages 5 to 11. In order for everyone to get the attention they deserve, we only have 12 or 14 to a group, separated by ages, so typically the five and six-year-olds work as a team, the seven and eight-year-olds group up, and those nine and older learn together.
Dates and Times:
Our camps are held Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm., dates vary by location. Each camp location has its’ own unique scheduling dates, so check your local listings for your particular camp’s details.
Meet Our Mascot “E.G.”:
