A Few Things to Send with Your Child
Nourishment:
Kids play hard at camp and as a result they often crave more food than they might normally eat at school or at home. Please send a healthy lunch packed in an insulated bag or cooler. We recommend a morning snack and if they like also an afternoon snack!
Hydration:
Water, water, water! We suggest 2 water bottles per day, kids like it when they have a frozen bottle keeping their lunch cold, it will be somewhat slushy in the heat of the afternoon & soooo refreshing!
Shoes that Will Help Them Play:
We require our campers to be in closed toe, rubber soled shoes, good old fashion sneakers/tennis shoes are ideal. Although we all love being in sandals in the summer, at camp they are too limiting and can be downright dangerous during Outdoor Action.
Apply Sunscreen Before Camp:
Kids will not be in the sunlight for extended periods of time, but after all it is summer & the sun will be shining down on us, please apply sunscreen before camp to their exposed skin & feel free to send a hat.
Weather Appropriate Clothing:
The mornings can be cool, campers often require a layer with sleeves early in the day. For Kindergartners & 1st Graders : Please bring an extra pair of shorts in a backpack just to be on the safe side.
What Not to Bring:
- Pets
- Cell Phones
- Tablets
- MP3 Players
- Electronic Games & Other Technological Items
- Trading Cards
- Toys
- Money
- Anything Valuable

Lost & Found:
If you think an item of yours was left behind at camp, ask your camper’s teacher or check the lost & found box. Please do not wait until the last day to start your search as all unclaimed items will be donated on the final day of camp. We are not responsible for personal items left or lost at camp!
