After You’ve Registered and Before Camp Begins:
Log into “Your Account” to review your family’s registration details. Please confirm that you are enrolled in the location of your choosing & for the weeks of your choosing. If you have questions or need to make any changes please email info@destinationscience.org or call 888-909-2822 and we will gladly assist you. Available within “Your Account” is a Formal Receipt (Tax ID: 33-059-3158) and a copy of the Liability Waiver you authorized during the registration process.
Friends at Camp:
Camp is a great place to make new friends & our staff will facilitate new friendships. When you registered you may have included the name of a friend that you wanted to be grouped with & we will be sure to honor that. In the event that you want to later add a friend to be grouped with, please email info@destinationscience.org or call 888.909.2822.
Parking Details:
Please revisit your location page within the week immediately before your camp begins. We will be uploading current information regarding parking & drop-off procedures to facilitate a smooth Monday morning check-in. Please allow enough time to park your car & walk your camper into the camp location. Please note that university locations may require a few extra steps.
Sign Out Pass:
All campers must be signed in & out by a parent or guardian with their Destination Science teacher using a Sign Out Pass. Sign Out Passes must be presented to your child’s teacher at the end of the day for safe pick up. The pass will be available on your account page!
Camper Health History Form:
We require our camp families to submit a completed Health History Form to alert our staff if there are any medical considerations that we should be aware of such as allergies, medications, epipen requirement, etc. It is also an opportunity for you to identify any activities that you would like to restrict your child from participating in or any special adaptations you would like to suggest we employ while your child is at our camp.
Special Needs:
Although Destination Science is not specifically designed to serve children with special needs we have had a great deal of success with campers whose special needs are mild and/or who are accompanied by a caring & well trained aide. It is worth noting that our program works within a set schedule with multiple transition periods & times filled with loud noise. Transfers, Cancellations & Refunds:
- No fee for Transfers between sessions & locations. All transfers must be emailed to info@destinationscience.org no later than one week prior to the start of your camp session.
- Please read our complete cancellation and refund policy here.
- We do not issue refunds to campers who have been asked to leave camp due to behavior.
- Credits will not be issued for any missed or partial days.
