Each Camper Will Receive:
SUPPLY BOX: The DS science supply kit arrives via UPS or USPS to your doorstep. Tracking information will come via email when the box leaves our warehouse. Upon opening the box, you will find the DS Welcome Letter, to answer any questions you may be wondering. Each box is chock-full of the unique science supplies your child will require. We carefully bundle and number each supply bag by lesson, making it user friendly. Your child also receives a Destination Science bag to contain their science projects throughout the duration of the program. Additionally, each session is full of anticipation & surprises!
TEACHER: Connect LIVE with your Destination Science teacher for regular meetings using our Zoom link. Your DS teacher always encourages fun, friendly interaction between the kids & with the teacher. Your Zoom Meeting ID, password & link will arrive in your email inbox the day before each session begins.
SCIENCE ACTIVITIES: Kids explore STEM science through weekly hands-on projects, experiments, games, challenges and fun.
DEVELOPS CONFIDENCE: We craft our virtual program to require very minimal to no parental help. A few science steps may need adult hands nearby to help our Kinders & 1st graders.
GROUPING & CONNECTIONS: Kids are grouped by grade level & stay with the same group to build friendly connections with old and new friends. Groups may span three grade levels, DS group sizes are 10 to 14/ group depending on the grade level. Siblings will be grouped together unless otherwise requested.
