What Do Kids Do at Our Day Camps?
Each summer, we create and offer different themed camps. Kids can choose topics that interest them and explore these ideas in-depth for sessions of one, two, three or four weeks. The schedule for each day includes:
- Three science experiments, which use real-life, hands-on activities to teach
- Two outside sessions, where kids run around and burn off their excess energy
- One Camp Rally to cap the day, giving educators a chance to revisit the day’s concepts and praise kids for a job well done
We also hand out “terrific” beads to kids we see exhibiting great characteristics, such as taking responsibility and showing fairness. They can add these beads to their lanyard to show their accomplishments.
