What Do Kids Do at Summer Camp?
Children can choose from unique themed programs at Destination Science. Each program studies different concepts, and the daily schedule includes:
- Three Science Stations, where kids perform experiments working both collaboratively and independently
- Two Outside Action Stations, where children run around outdoors while playing games
- Camp Rally, where the camp day ends with songs and discussions about what campers have accomplished
We believe in recognizing children who display empathy and kindness, so we reward such character traits with “terrific” beads, which attendees earn for their lanyards.
The Benefits of Early STEM Camps for Kids
Why should you send your child to one of our camps in Plano or Frisco, TX? Destination Science offers a blend of informational and social skills development that will help your child in school and life.
Children learn by having fun. Our concepts stick with them because they associate everything we teach with a messy, silly and memorable experience. They learn cause and effect by doing the work themselves instead of listening to dry academic concepts.
Our campers also discover new ways to communicate and collaborate. Making new friends and solving problems are everyday parts of their experience with Destination Science.
