Destination Science’s In Person Camp Cancellation Policy
If You Cancel
- You may cancel prior to May 01, 2024, and receive a full refund of your payment to the original payment method used in 2024, less a $40 processing fee per transaction.
- You may cancel between May 01, 2024 and up to seven (7) business days prior to your camp start date, and receive a 100% credit voucher usable for any Destination Science offering through August 31, 2025.
- There will be no credit or refunds provided if you cancel within seven (7) business days of your camp start date.
- If your child is unable to attend camp due to illness, you’ll need to provide a doctor’s note. In return, Destination Science will issue you a 3 day prorated credit voucher that you can use toward any offering through August 31, 2025.
If We Cancel
- If DS cancels for any reason, including (but not limited to) state, county or school health orders or mandate, you can choose a 100% refund to the original payment method used in 2024, or a 100% credit that can be used through August 31, 2025.
- If DS cancels in the middle of a weekly session due to state, county or school health orders or mandates, you may receive a prorated credit based on the number of days canceled in that week that can be used through August 31, 2025.
Transfers
- If you would like to transfer to a different camp location or week there is no fee to transfer. Send us an email at info@destinationscience.org with your request no later than one week prior to your camp start date. We are able to transfer you as long as the camp you want to switch into does not have a waitlist and is not a partnership camp. A partnership camp is a Destination Science camp where Destination Science does not take registration. You can tell our partnerships apart on our website by taking a look at the price; if there’s no price, it’s a partnership! This will also be noted on the location’s “camp info”.
