What Do Kids Do at Science Camp?
We offer new themed camps each summer. Children will learn through hands-on, real-life activities, and they can bring home the models they create for future learning opportunities.
Our dedicated team of educators keeps each day moving with a packed schedule that includes:
- Three daily science experiments lasting 70 minutes, including a 10-minute “brain break,” where children work both collaboratively and independently.
- Two outside sessions where children play outdoor games.
- One Camp Rally to end the day, where we sing songs and reflect on campers’ many accomplishments.
How Early STEM Camps Help Kids Academically and Socially
Children who attend our camps learn science and social skills. Each experiment campers conduct leads to a better understanding of the scientific method. They witness cause and effect, which stokes their curiosity and helps guard against “summer slide” by keeping them engaged and excited about learning.
We also teach social skills that will stay with your children as they get older. They discover the value of communication as they work together on experiments, and we show them it’s okay to fail as long as they remember the importance of trying again. We also encourage them to be creative. Kids make new friends at our camps while connecting over their love of science.
