Communication Banner:
Upon entering the DS campsite you will see a 5 foot wide yellow banner that has information parents want to know such as which teacher and group your child has been assigned to, reminders about spirit days & announcements about upcoming camps. Please direct any special requests or questions you may have to your camper’s teacher.
Daily Sign-In & Out:
All campers must be signed-in & out by a parent or adult guardian.
Sign In: Monday – Friday from 8:50 to 9:05 am. Try to arrive no later than 9:05 am so your child can participate in our Camper Connection activities.
Sign Out: Sign out is at 3:00 pm everyday. If you need to pick up your child early please inform the teacher that morning so we will be ready.
Sign Out Pass Do not forget!
All campers must be signed in & out by a parent or guardian with their Destination Science teacher using a Sign Out Pass. Sign Out Passes must be presented to your child’s teacher at the end of the day for safe pick up. The pass will be available on your account page!
Late Pick Up:
We understand that unforeseen challenges may cause you to be late for the designated pick-up. Please realize this causes complications in the smooth running of camp. If you see that you are going to be late you must call our office 888-909-2822 so we may make arrangements for the extended supervision of your child. There will be a $1 per minute late fee for campers picked up after 3:10pm.
Refunds or credits will not be issued for any missed or partial days.
Communication:
We encourage communication with your child’s teacher at sign in and sign out. If your child is experiencing any problems, we will call you immediately. If their is anything you would like your child’s teacher to know during camp hours, please call our office at 888-909-2822 & we will make sure the message is delivered.
Science Projects & Memorabilia:
Destination Science is chock-full of fun science activities spread out over three Science Stations daily. The 1st Science Station is called Discover & Build, 2nd is Explore & Create & 3rd is Engineer & Innovate! Throughout the Science Station campers will work in small groups of 2 3 or 7, designed to encourage Teamwork & Collaboration. Our budding scientists will also experience individual activities where they can really expand their Perseverance, Creativity & Problem Solving Skills. All of their science creations will go home, some daily and some they work on for 5 days that go home on Friday.
Outdoor Games with a SPLASH:
Afternoons in the summer can get hot, so we play games designed us cool us off. Games that include a SPLASH of water. Kids do not need to wear or bring swim suits or towels, but occasionally your child may come home a little damp.

It just wouldn’t be camp without the fun of Camp Spirit Days!
